Privacy Policy
1. Information we collect
Depending on your role, GiggEx may collect:
- Account and contact information — name, email address, mobile phone number, facility affiliation.
- Credentialing documents — medical licenses, board certifications, DEA registrations, malpractice insurance, and related professional documents you or your hospital upload or that are retrieved from connected portals with your authorization.
- Scheduling and payroll data — provided by your hospital for reconciliation purposes.
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, and device information collected automatically to maintain and improve the platform.
2. How we use it
Information is used to operate the platform — processing credentialing documents, reconciling schedules and budgets, sending you account-related communications, and providing the account access your role requires. We do not sell your data to third parties.
3. Communications and text messaging
By creating an account and selecting your contact preferences, you consent to receive transactional messages from GiggEx related to your account. These messages include:
- Credential status updates (e.g., document verified, license expiring)
- Document expiration reminders
- Onboarding steps and account notifications
- Scheduling confirmations
Message frequency: Messages are sent only when there is a relevant update to your account or credentials. GiggEx does not send marketing or promotional text messages without your separate opt-in consent.
Opt-out: You can stop receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message, or by updating your contact preferences in your account settings. Opting out of text messages does not affect your account or your ability to use the platform. You may still receive critical account security notifications via email.
Message and data rates: Standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply.
Carriers: Supported carriers include all major U.S. carriers. GiggEx is not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages due to carrier issues.

4. Data sharing
Data is shared only as needed to operate the platform (for example, with infrastructure providers hosting the database, and with messaging service providers to deliver text and email notifications) and is not shared with unrelated third parties without your authorization.
5. Data security
Access to data is restricted by role and facility, enforced at the database level. Sensitive credentials are stored encrypted. See our Security & Compliance page for details.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. Requests can be directed to nick@giggex.ai or through our Contact page.
7. Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated as the platform develops. Material changes will be communicated before taking effect.
